We can help you find your occupational therapist or Ergonomist in Montreal, Laval or the South Shore
Amandeep has been an occupational therapist since 2011, and was previously working as a kinesiologist for the years prior to that. She is a graduate from the Masters program at McGill University, and has a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University. She has been working in the private health care system since graduating, which allowed her to gain experience with various insurers, employers, and clients. Amandeep has experience with ergonomic evaluations, recommendations, and presentations, as well as functional capacity evaluations, driving evaluations and return-to-work rehabilitation programs. She is certified with the EPIC Matheson protocol for functional capacity evaluations, and is certified with the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) for reactivation programs. Amandeep enjoys teaching and educating others, which led her to collaborate with the McGill University School of Occupational Therapy as a Mentor and Supervisor for students.
She offers independent ergonomic evaluations and recommendations for those who work in an office setting. These types of jobs put stress on numerous parts of the body which can result in tension, irritation and pain. These include injuries such as tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck and back irritation and pain, and more. No amount of other medical treatments will completely heal the injury if it’s initial cause is not treated. If you have any questions on whether you can benefit from an ergonomic assessment, or are interested in having a presentation to introduce the basic principles of ergonomics to your employees, please don’t hesitate to contact me through Santé Active.
