Santé Active is expanding its network of qualified Zumba and dance fitness instructors across Canada. We are looking for energetic, reliable and engaging instructors to lead classes for workplaces, senior residences, private groups, schools and special events.
We currently have opportunities in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary and surrounding areas, with additional opportunities available as our network continues to grow.

What You'll Do
As a Zumba Instructor working with Santé Active clients, your responsibilities may include:
- Leading fun, energetic and professionally structured Zumba classes
- Creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for participants
- Providing clear verbal and visual instruction
- Demonstrating movements and proper technique
- Adapting movements for different fitness levels and abilities
- Motivating participants throughout each class
- Selecting appropriate music and choreography for the group
- Arriving prepared and on time for scheduled classes
- Communicating professionally with clients and Santé Active
- Creating a positive fitness experience that encourages participants to stay active
The type of classes offered will depend on your qualifications, experience, location and availability.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for instructors who combine enthusiasm and personality with professionalism and strong teaching skills.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- Current Zumba® Instructor certification or licence
- Experience leading group fitness or dance fitness classes
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- The ability to motivate and engage groups with different fitness levels
- A professional, reliable and punctual approach
- The ability to adapt movements when appropriate
- A genuine enthusiasm for fitness, music and helping people stay active
CPR and First Aid certification and professional liability insurance may be required depending on the assignment.
Additional qualifications such as Zumba Gold®, group fitness, senior fitness or other dance and fitness certifications are an asset.
